2011 End of the Year Recap

The ACGME awarded the Glendale Adventist Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program with the maximum accreditation of Five Year. The ACGME, "The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) is responsible for the Accreditation of post-MD medical training programs within the United States."

The Glendale Adventist Medical Center successfully launched Computerized Physician Order Entry and our residents played a major role in the accomplishment of a smooth transition.

Happily we graduated eight excellent physicians and welcomed eight wonderful physicians into our practice.

Our Family Medicine Center was the first medical office in Glendale, CA to receive NCQA Level 3 Recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home. Our dynamic team approach, advanced accessibility to resources, and superior medical records system has made quite a statement.

We look forward to another great year of training the physicians of the future! Happy Holidays from everyone here at the GAMC Family Medicine Residency!!
